Austin International School believes in the importance of open communication between home and school. There are several ways that teachers and parents will be able to communicate throughout the academic year. Report cards and parent teacher conferences take place three times a year. Teachers send bi-monthly newsletters to parents to share what is happening in the classroom. Parents are able to contact their child’s teachers by email and can schedule an appointment to meet in person before or after school by contacting the teachers directly. In the event of absence, the front desk should be notified by phone and/or email and the child’s teachers should be notified by email.
