Uniform policy

Our students wear a uniform of white, collared shirts; navy blue skirts, jumpers, shorts, pants, coats and sweaters; white socks or tights; black, blue or navy rubber closed-toe shoes. There must be no outside logos on clothing or jewelry that can be easily removed.

On Fridays they may wear the school T-shirt which you may order through the AIS-PTO.

Students must have one collared white shirt with the school logo on it for public outings such as field trips and performances.

Through the PTO

The Parent – Teacher Organization holds a secondhand uniform sale at the beginning of the year so that parents may buy gently used school uniforms from other parents. Please contact the AIS-PTO by email with questions.

Embroider your own clothes

AIS parent Andrea Wardrop, owner of Sew It Out, a graphics and embroidery business, will professionally embroider your own clothing with the school logo and donate a portion of the sale to the school. She can embroider shirts, jackets and backpacks. Please contact her by email.
