Admissions Policy
- The Austin International
School's admission policy is non-discriminatory. We welcome
students without regard to gender, race, religion or national
origin.
- Students must be age three by December 31st
of the calendar year to be admitted into Petite Section (PK-1), four by
December 31st for Moyenne Section (PK-2), and five by Decemer 31st for
Grande Section. (The Executive Director has the discretion to make
final decisions regarding questions of maturity for class placement.)
- Students in first
grade (CP) and above must have previous French language experience at a
particular level to meet academic demands in order to
be accepted. Grade level placement
is determined by the age of the student as of December 31 .
- Children MUST be fully potty trained prior
to acceptance.
- Priority admission will be given to
families with children currently enrolled until the last week of
February. This priority also extends to any siblings of current
students. After that date, the school will begin to enroll
students on our waiting list.
