Ways to Give
We greatly appreciate all the different ways in which the families and friends of AIS give throughout the year. Your investment makes a difference. Please explore the options below to maximize your support and contribute in a way that is most meaningful to you. Thank you for making AIS possible!
There are a variety of programs to support and ways to give. Annual Fund gifts make the greatest impact to the school. However, giving to designated programs or to our scholarship fund also makes a huge impact to the students, faculty, and community of AIS. Click on the donate button to make a gift or ask for a Giving Envelope at reception to specify a fund or activity to support or reach out to our Chief Operating Officer.
Fundraising Initiatives
Annual Fund
Annual Fund gifts have the greatest impact, as they demonstrate commitment to the unique vision, mission, and core values of our school without associated event expenses. Proceeds from our Annual Fund support educational programming, curriculum development, and school enhancements.
We recognize there are varying means of giving within our community. Every gift matters, and any amount, no matter how small is welcome and appreciated. Annual Fund gifts are fully tax deductible.
20th Anniversary Fund
AIS is such a special community and has been made possible thanks to the support of all those students, families, and staff who have been a part of its foundation, growth, and history. As we commemorate our 20th anniversary, we want to say thank you to everyone who has been a part of this remarkable school.
Help us pay homage by purchasing a brick with your student's name to become part of the new brick pavement to be installed on the pathway leading up to the school.
A standard size 4-inch x 8-inch Individual Student Brick will be engraved with two lines of custom text. The first line will be the name of the student you wish to honor. The second line can be a dedication phrase in French, Spanish, or English of up to 20 characters or the dates of attendance at AIS. For this the 20th school year, the 3rd line of text will read, "AIS 20th Anniversary" to commemorate this special year! The first bricks will be installed in the summer of 2021!
Donate a brick for each student in your family, and you may also gift a brick for another student or alumni!
Community Events
Spring Gala
Our Spring Gala brings family members together to celebrate and support AIS. This event is hosted offsite and is held between February and April annually. We are proudest of the annual art auction. AIS students work with their class to create a group art project. These creations are auctioned off and will go home with the winning bidder. Other event highlights include a silent and live auction, raffle, dinner, dancing and much more.
FUNd Run
Our AIS students anxiously await our FUNd Run each and every year. This event promotes healthy and active lifestyles while also supporting the school through the fund drive. AIS students ask families and friends to give one-time gifts or per lap pledges and then they’re off! Participating students run laps around the school while being cheered on by their adoring fans culminating in community celebrations.
Event family sponsorships are available as well. By sponsoring this event, AIS families will receive recognition at the event, inclusion in our marketing materials, and our ongoing appreciation!
Family Day!
AIS celebrates the various cultures and families which make up our diverse community. On Family Day, we ask invite all the extended families who love and support our students to come on campus, get a sneak peek at the children’s educational experience, and then we celebrate them! Families are asked to share their family background and history and students showcase their families through class projects.
Financial Donations
One Time Giving
We have a simple and secure credit card online donation system. Donations via check or cash may be dropped off at reception or mailed to the school addressed to the attention April O’Quinn.
Monthly or Quarterly Giving
Contributions may be made in monthly or quarterly donations as way to demonstrate ongoing support. Donors may setup automatic payments online. Installment giving supports our Annual Fund campaign or may designated to a designated Fund such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) projects, Library Fund, Playground Fund, or Middle School Fund.
Multi-Year Giving
Donors may choose to make longer term investments through multi-year giving. These pledges may be designated to a Fund or capital improvements.
Matching Gifts
As a non-profit, AIS is typically eligible for Employer Matching Gifts. This increases the impact of your giving as most employers match 1:1 or more. Check with your Employers’ Human Resources department for details and requirements. Gifts received by AIS will be verified through employer matching gift forms or their giving websites.
Merci, gracias, and thank you to our Matching Gift partners: IBM, Dell, and 3M!

Vehicle Donations
AIS accepts proceeds from vehicle donations. By donating vehicles to AIS, you can:

- Receive the auction sales price of your vehicle as a tax deduction
- Avoid the possibility of receiving a low trade-in value from a dealer or the anxiety and hassle of selling to a private party.
Donated vehicles may be picked up free of charge and sold at auction as made possible through our partnership with Donate for Charity. You may call Donate for Charity toll free at 866-392-4483 or donate online.
