AIS Parent-Teacher Organization
Welcome from the PTO President
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is an active voluntary organization whose membership is open to all parents/guardians. The organization is committed to building school spirit, fostering a strong and supportive community, and enriching the educational life of the AIS community by organizing special events and programs. It exists to support the educational goals directed by the administration, and to organize social and fundraising events which strengthen and support the school.
The PTO gathers regularly preceding the AIS Board of Directors meetings and all AIS parents are invited to join. The meetings include discussion of issues that parents bring forward, event planning, project development ideas for the future, and periodic updates from school administration. All parents, especially those new to the AIS community, are encouraged to get involved in the life of the school through the PTO.
We thank each and every one of you for being part of our community. We have so many wonderful opportunities to learn and celebrate together and we appreciate your support in giving your ideas, time, and energy towards our school events and fundraising initiatives. We truly would not be able to accomplish all of it without you. Thanks for all that you do to help support the PTO and the school!
You will find multiple opportunities and different ways to help on our group page organized by category. We have shifts organized by the PTO like Pizza Fridays, Bake Sales, or Uniform Exchange or our school events like International Week, FundRun, or End of Year performances. We will also utilize this tool for classroom sign-ups as well. So be on the lookout for other additions and invitations to participate throughout the year. To see how you can help and sign up for a shift, click on the signup.com icon below.
Thank you for giving your time in advance and here's to a great school year!
