Summer Camp

Les Explorers

June 11 through July 20, 2012

Les Explorers offers children aged 3 to 12 a unique experience to travel the world. Our language immersion camp, based on French, Spanish, and English languages, allows children to choose their own destination each day, and to broaden their minds while learning through educational activities.

Based on workshops, our experienced and caring instructors help students to explore the world and learn about other cultures, culinary tastes, games, legends, crafts, music, and more. Our hands-on activities include drama, computer sciences, cooking, weaving, collage, music, bricolage, papier-mâché, photography, foreign games – not to mention our weekly water games, and inclusive field trips which alternate with guest visitors!

For new academic students, Les Explorers is a fun way to prepare the children to the up-coming school year, by following AIS curriculum guidelines and exposing the child to their new environment. The program runs for six weeks (one week minimum) of playful language immersion, giving the parents the flexibility to register the children for one or more non-consecutive weeks.

The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with extended hours starting at 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Parents may register their children for a full day week or for a half day week. Les Explorers simplifies parents’ busy schedules by offering a healthy meal option, which parents can order through our caterer.

And to make our worldwide experience even more exciting, each Explorer is offered a travel bag with a passport and a travel log on their first day of camp.

So pack your sun lotion and join us!
