Children must turn three by December 31st in the year they enroll. They must also be fully potty trained.

There is no prerequisite for French. Students entering CP (1st) through 4e (8th) without French will be enrolled in our FLE (Français Langue Étrangère — French as a Foreign Language) program to help them transition to the full immersion classroom.

Many AIS families don't speak French or Spanish — and that's completely fine. We offer study hall, individual and small group tutoring, and directed after-school support. Additional in-day support is also available for those who need it.

Teachers update families regularly through newsletters, report cards, and parent-teacher conferences. Teachers will also contact you directly if any special circumstances arise.

Doors open at 7:55am and close at 6:00pm. Drop-off begins at 7:55am; before-school care is free. After-school care is charged monthly.

School schedules:
• 8:25am–3:15pm for PS and MS (Wednesday early dismissal 2:15pm)
• 8:15am–3:30pm for GS through CM2 (Wednesday early dismissal 2:30pm)
• 8:15am–3:30pm for Middle School (Wednesday early dismissal 2:35pm)

Students are never required to learn a new skill or lesson at home — so non-French-speaking parents can still help. We also offer after-school homework help with staff, and teachers will assist families in finding the right resources.

Preschool children will need a blanket for nap, a soft toy (optional), a change of clothing and underwear, lunch, and two snacks each day. Please also bring your school-visit paperwork on or before the first visit day.

All new students from MS (age 4) to CM2, plus all students in MS, GS, CP, CE2, and CM2 are required to have vision and hearing testing. 5th and 7th graders also need scoliosis screening. If done by your own physician, please provide a copy to the school.

We can keep your application on file and your child's name on our waitlist until March of the following year. We will then contact you to confirm if space is available.
