Benjamin Vila
Middle School Coordinator & CM2 Teacher
Originally from the Ardèche region of France, Ben brings 15 years of teaching and leadership experience across public and private schools in France, from Pre-K through 8th grade. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, a Master's degree in Education, and French national teaching credentials. Ben has taught in multi-grade, dual-language, and inclusive classrooms. Before joining AIS, he was Pedagogical Coordinator for a private school near Lyon, where he helped design and expand its Middle School curriculum. At AIS, he coordinates the Middle School while teaching CM2 (5th grade). Ben believes learning should be active, meaningful, and fun, with a focus on project-based learning and differentiated instruction. Outside school, he enjoys soccer, golf, and traveling with his family.
