Hannah Cooper Klein is the co-founder and CEO of Cooper/Smith, a global health intelligence company. She has over 20 years of experience leading data and technology initiatives, advising governments, and building partnerships with major funders and institutions. After working at the State Department and the World Bank, she founded Cooper/Smith in 2015. She has built a multidisciplinary team of experts in AI, data science, and healthcare and secured over $30M in funding. Hannah has published widely on AI, technology, and healthcare, with her work cited in outlets including The Economist and The New York Times. She serves on several boards and is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin. Hannah has a BA (Honors) in History & Political Sciences from McGill University and an MA from Sciences Po Paris.
Born in Boston and raised in Montreal, she brings a truly international perspective to her work. She is fluent in French, English, and Italian and lives in Austin with her husband and three children.
