Laura Houlden
Director of Finance
Laura Houlden serves as Director of Finance and Operations at Austin International School, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit finance, organizational leadership, and strategic operations. She holds an MBA and has built her career supporting mission-driven organizations by strengthening financial systems, improving operations, and building the infrastructure needed for long-term success.
Laura is passionate about using finance as a strategic tool to support people, programs, and the broader goals of an organization. She is also the proud mother of twins and has called Austin home for many years.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and finding any excuse to be outdoors.
