Tamra Kerns

Tamra Kerns joined the AIS Board of Trustees in 2025.  She brings significant experience working with middle and high school students throughout the United States on their journey of personal discovery, educational planning, and the college application process. She is Founder and CEO of Guide to Thrive Educational Consulting, where she has blended her passion for working with students and years of high-tech leadership and service-focused business experience. Prior to starting her company, Tamra spent 25+ years at NI (National Instruments) in a variety of roles, including the Vice President of Global Services and Support, product strategy and product marketing.  In addition, she has served on the board and strategic planning committee for Leadership Austin, as well as several other non-profit organizations.
