Welcome to the admissions office! I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce you to Austin International School. I know you have many public and private school options available to you in Austin and I am ready to help you explore the possibilities for your child as a student at our school.

We offer an open information session every month during the school year so that you may meet me and our head of school, view our classes and learn about our French, English and Spanish immersion curriculum and overall philosophy.  Two larger information sessions are also held in November and February. Please check this website for the next information session date.

When you are ready to continue with the admissions process, I will set up an individual appointment to meet with both the parents and child. Please call or email to request an admissions packet, which includes the application form you will need to start the admissions process. The first step of the admissions process is to complete and return the application form along with $100. When we have received your application we will schedule a time with you to visit the school.

Visiting during a school day by coming to an open house or arranging an individual appointment will allow you to experience first-hand our students, teachers and facility in action as well as discuss the next steps in the admissions process, any necessary testing and the forms and documentation required.

Applications received before March of the year your child will be joining us are placed onto a waitlist. Priority enrollment for existing families and their siblings closes in March each school year and it is after this time that we then open our waitlists to new families. We will contact you at this time to confirm that space is available.

It is my goal to provide you with as much information as possible to help you in this important decision. The role of the Admissions Office is to make this process as simple and easy as possible.
